Michigan State University Women’s Hockey team captain Natalia Asimakis has been selected as the CCHWA’s second star for the month of October, 2022. In just two games senior center Asimakis tallied 5 points for the Spartans with 2 goals scored against rival University of Michigan and three assists in the match against University of Michigan Dearborn. The game against the Wolverines of Michigan-Ann Arbor was her first game-winning goal of the season.
During the 2021-2022 season Asimakis has scored 6 goals and gathered 4 assists across the 6 games played, leading the team with the highest points per game average.
The Spartans return to the ice after the holiday in a two game away series against Penn State December 3rd and 4th.
